High-density pipe supports are foamed polymers with properties of plastics, rubber, and cork, primarily composed of isocyanates and polyethers, plus foaming agents, catalysts, and fire retardants, produced through high-speed stirring and mixing.
The foam is composed of thousands of extremely small, uniform, independent cells, forming a three-dimensional honeycomb structure. It has high density, low thermal conductivity, low water absorption, and a superior texture compared to wood.
In China and Europe and America, it is used for pipe supports, pipe sockets, and hangers in petrochemical plants, liquefied gas plants, cold storage facilities, and central air conditioning systems.
